Never try to compel your mind to remember things.

            Here is a small story

As a student, when taking examinations and reading through your papers, you find that all your knowledge has suddenly deserted you. Your mind becomes appalling blank, and you are unable to recall one relevant thought. The more you grit your teeth and summon the power of your mind, the further the answers seemed to flee. But, when you have left the examination room and the mental pressure relaxes, the answers you were seeking flow tantalizing back into your mind. This is an example of stressed mind at work.

Trying to force yourself to remember was the cause of the failure. Also, this is an example of the law of reversed effort.

So what to do in this condition. The best possible way is to enjoy the process of examination that is taking your examination and not anxiously thinking of the results while taking the examination. When you enjoy the process of taking the examination you work with a relaxed mind and your mind in return works at its best and the results are always better.
